Can we use the Zipformer v3 model in a commercial Quran app?
We are building an iOS recitation tracker and want to know if the model weights can be integrated into our freemium app.
All Quran Lab models and weights are released under our Non-Profit License (NPL-1.1). They are completely free for research, non-commercial use, and open community applications. We do not grant commercial exceptions.

Madd Lazim duration causes CTC decoder drop on Al-Fatihah 1:7
When holding the 6-harakat elongation on "Ad-Dallin", the streaming model prematurely emits the word end before the final letters finish, registering a missing phoneme.
Identified boundary truncation issue in acoustic windowing for sustained madd. Logged for evaluation in the upcoming phonetics pipeline.

Tested contribute.quranlab.ai on low-end Android in Indonesia. The 14.8MB sherpa-onnx inference runs completely client-side without lagging the browser. Huge milestone for the ummah!
